BOSTON, MA (May 1, 2026) – The Alpha Omega Council, a Greek American organization dedicated to cultivating the ideals of Hellenism through philanthropy and fellowship, will host its annual Greek Heritage Night with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, at Fenway Park, as the Red Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles.

This year’s event holds special significance as it coincides with the golden 50th Anniversary of the Alpha Omega Council, marking five decades of service, cultural celebration, and community impact throughout New England.

Now in its 9th year sponsored by the Alpha Omega Council, Greek Heritage Night has become a beloved tradition, drawing thousands of attendees annually in celebration of Greek culture, heritage, and community spirit, while raising funds for charitable initiatives supported by the Council, such as the Metropolis of Boston Camp.

During on-field presentations, the 2026 Greek Heritage Night will honor Adam Zervos, Boston-area author of Baseball’s Golden Greeks, recognized for his work highlighting Greek professional baseball players from 1934–1974, as well as The Hellenic Women’s Benevolent Association, who will receive the “Hats Off to Heroes” honor in recognition for its longstanding commitment to philanthropy and community service.

The festive evening will feature immense Hellenic pride, the singing of the National Anthem, the throwing of the first pitch and the declaration of ‘Play Ball!’ by a Greek peer, and traditional Greek dance performances. An official pregame will take place in the areas behind the bleachers and on the Sam Adams Deck, where guests can experience a variety of Greek food options and beverages available for purchase, such as chicken souvlaki, lamb gyro, honey baked feta and baklava, which will also be available in other various areas of the stadium.

“Greek Heritage Night continues to be a cornerstone event for the Alpha Omega Council,” said Chairperson John Mokas. “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, this evening represents not only our shared heritage, but also the strength and unity of our community. We are proud to bring people together at one of baseball’s most iconic venues while supporting meaningful causes.”

Greek Heritage Night with the Boston Red Sox promises an unforgettable evening at Fenway Park, blending America’s pastime with the rich traditions of Hellenism. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Greek Heritage Night follows the Alpha Omega Council’s recent Boston Marathon Wreath Ceremony (April 16), and precedes Alpha Omega Council’s Annual Honors Gala (October 2), as well as the Konstantinos Argiros Concert at Agganis Arena (October 3), for which the Alpha Omega Council will serve as the local host in partnership with promoter Dream Hospitality Group.
