It is with great sadness that Supreme President Chris Kaitson announces the passing of Brother Franklin R. Manios, a distinguished leader who served the Order of AHEPA as Supreme President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He passed away on October 7, 2025.
Brother Manios served as Supreme President for one term (2004-2005) and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, achieving significant milestones that profoundly impacted the organization and its mission to promote Hellenic ideals. Brother Frank founded Franklin Pharmacy and Franklin Pharmacy & Health Care. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh – School of Pharmacy (1957), he also served in the U.S. Marine Corps (1953-1955). Brother Frank was an active member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and other civic organizations in Warren, OH.
Funeral arrangements will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the AHEPA Athletics earmarked for the Franklin R. Manios Scholar-Athlete. Our thoughts and prayers are with his children, friends and family members. May his memory be eternal.
