MYKOS

This upscale spot comes from the owners of popular Italian eatery Verana in nearby Norwood.
On Mykos’ “modern Greek” menu: stalwarts including horiatiki, moussaka, and lavraki, along with bolder offerings like a prime New York strip steak with bone-marrow avgolemono and quail with grilled rosemary and honey.
On Mondays, Mykos features live music with artists who croon Greek and American standards.

Where a pizza parlor once operated, Adam Lucas and Greg Sakas have opened this fast-casual spot that’s the first of its kind in Myrtle Beach, according to the partner.
Some of the restaurant’s recipes are inspired by Sakas’s mother, “who made the best baklava,” he told a local news site.
The menu skews traditional, with staples like tzatziki, spanakopita, Greek salad, and gyros.
“We are proud to be a part of the growing Greek community in North Myrtle Beach,” the restaurant posted on Facebook.

Opened in June, this fast-casual spot in a strip mall is serving up familiar favorites including pita, gyros, and souvlaki.
“After serving thousands of customers in our two restaurants in Germany, we’re proud to open in San Antonio,” owner Saimir Pllana told a San Antonio news blog.
“On our menu, you’ll find souvlaki, biftekia (Greek burgers), and mouthwatering grilled meats—chicken, beef, and lamb—all prepared fresh, and yes, everything is halal.”
