Faros Is a Brooklyn Beacon for Good Eating

Faros (84 Seventh Avenue, Brooklyn, NY; 718-623-2767) serves Greek specialties out of a rustic, two-story brownstone that features a garden as well as a spacious second-floor terrace. Though it offers mostly dishes of the Greek cuisine, it also has a choice of many vegetarian options to choose from, and a selection of great Greek wines. Its desserts must be tried. The atmosphere is casual, and it opens at 4 pm for dinner only.
